Lozano v. City of Hazleton, 2006 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 79301

The Lozano case is a challege to Hazleton Pennsylvania's "Illegal Immigration Relief Act". I am part of a legal team that includes the American Civil Liberties Union, Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund, Cozen O'Connor, Barry Dyller and David Vaida. We represent to plaintiffs challenging this ordinance This decision grants our request for a Temporary Restraining Order forbidding Hazleton from implementing the Ordinance.

Louis-Martin v. Ridge, 2004 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 11296

In the Louis-Martin case, I represented the Petitioner only the Habeas Corpus petition, persuading the Federal District Court to remand the matter back to the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement so that my client could have the chance to have his Convention Against Torture claim heard. I was not the attorney who was "harshly reprimanded" by the Immigration Judge in New York state. I did not represent the Petitioner with regard to the subsequent CAT claim.

Gomez v. Bureau of Immigration & Customs Enforcement's Interim Field Office Dir. for Det. & Removal, 315 F. Supp. 2d 63, 2004 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 7456
